We established the Serbian Cultural Center Taraba out of the desire to gather and connect people from our region in one place, of which there are more and more in the UAE.
Taraba will nurture the tradition and spirit of our motherland, preserve and spread the most important values of our work, support emotional and hereditary ties with roots, and create a safe place where all our people can get friendly and business support. This will help new generations so they do not forget their origin.
We aim for Taraba to become a cultural nest for our people who live and work in the United Arab Emirates, far from our home country, and for all open-hearted people who want to contribute to preserving our culture.
Our goal is to strengthen the Serbian community through its members' cultural and social progress and cooperation with all cultural, artistic, and business institutions in Serbia, the UAE, and beyond.
The Serbian Cultural Centre Taraba preform activities in the different venues such as studio for folklore dance rehearsals, galleries for art exhibitions, theatre halls, classrooms for language school. In all these spaces, and in other when its needed, we are organizing numerous cultural, artistic, sports and business events.
