VISA REGIME

The Republic of Serbia and the UAE have a signed agreement on a visa-free regime. The visa-free regime also applies to holders of ordinary passports of both countries, who have the right to enter, exit, transit, and stay on the territory of both countries for up to 90 days. Currency

The currency of the Republic of Serbia is the Serbian dinar.

The international ISO 4217 code for the dinar is: RSD, and the three-digit code is 941. In Serbia, the abbreviation din/дин is used.
The UAE dirham was included in the list of currencies traded on the Serbian foreign exchange market from November 1, 2022, to facilitate cooperation between economic and other entities of the two countries. However, if you are a tourist, it is more convenient to bring EUR or USD with you.

Belgrade

Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe and one of the largest urban areas in the Balkans. The oldest archaeological finds date back to the fifth millennium BC, and under the name Singidunum, it is mentioned in the 3rd century BC. The first mention of the name Belgrade dates from 878.

During its long and turbulent history, Belgrade has been conquered by 40 armies, and it has been raised from the ashes 38 times. Belgrade has about 2 million inhabitants and the status of a special territorial unit in Serbia, which has its own autonomous city administration. Its territory is divided into 17 municipalities, which have their own local authorities.
